Yi-Ji (宜忌) is the core guidance system of the Chinese Almanac, listing which activities are favorable ("Yi" 宜) and which should be avoided ("Ji" 忌) on any given day. Rooted in over two thousand years of astrological computation, it synthesizes the day's Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch, the presiding Jianchu deity, lunar mansion, Five Element interactions, and the movements of auspicious and inauspicious spirits into practical daily recommendations.
